Auto accident leads to 2 deaths, 1 serious injury

Two people have sadly lost their lives following a motor vehicle crash in Florida. The fatal auto accident took place on Interstate 75 during the early morning hours of a Saturday. The collision involved five automobiles.

The accident occurred at a little before 6:15 a.m. According to authorities, a 28-year-old man was headed north in his SUV and suddenly lost control of the motor vehicle. That is when the SUV entered a semi-truck's path and sparked a series of collisions involving three extra automobiles.

Two women who were passengers in a subcompact car, ages 67 and 76, passed away in the collision. Meanwhile, the driver of the car, 64, suffered serious injuries in the wreck and was thus transported to the hospital. The SUV driver received minor injuries in the collision, as did a man, 23, who was driving another car involved in the wreck. Authorities continued to investigate the cause of the collision.

The surviving loved ones of the two women who passed away in the Florida auto accident may choose to file wrongful death claims against the SUV driver who reportedly caused the crash, seeking the reimbursement of monetary damages. Likewise, the woman who was seriously injured in the wreck may decide to file a personal injury claim against him. Liability must be established before the court hearing the case, before financial damage claims will be determined. A successfully fought suit might lead to a monetary award that may help the plaintiffs to cover burial costs, hospital bills and other losses stemming from the motor vehicle accident.
